Rulers of space, controllers of destiny – you will appreciate me more than most, for all of your senses will drink me in. Affairs of humanity are best served when Buddha’s cup is full.
Written for the weekend Trifecta Challenge: Buddhist cosmology tells of Trāyastriṃśa, or the Heaven of Thirty-Three gods, which rule over the human realm. This weekend we’re asking for exactly 33 of your own
words about a god of your own devising that shares heaven with the other thirty-two gods. Make it yours and have fun with it

Ahhh yes!
very clever since I see my wife and teenage daughter fall in line with this God, I get it……you coffee people are the crazee
guilty as charged! I should own a white jacket that ties up in the back. 😀
Taking up your challenge, PP
Ha! And he has a spill proof lid . . . 😀
That picture is the best, I feel like it’s the before shot and the Happy Buddha is the after 😉
You’re probably right!
Wait – coffee isn’t already a recognized god?
It is in my house!
I know a lot of worshippers of this god! Well put! Thanks for linking up and don’t forget to come back and vote!
This god I worship… I can’t deny that.
I attend this mass several times each morning. 🙂
I like this on two levels – for the humor, as it relates to the title, and for the message, which stands on its own. “Affairs of humanity are best served when Buddha’s cup is full” – this is an idea that really made me think. Great job.
Thank you very much. You are the first one who has mentioned the double meaning. 🙂
I admit – I missed the caffeine/coffee reference at first! I skipped past the title to the text, and didn’t even see the picture. 🙂

Love the Buddha’s cup being full
I admit to being slightly unfaithful with the god of tea…
Have to agree with kymm’s comment above, though am not committed to either God 😉
