Too many times I have heard this word and it makes me cringe every time. There are others that offend my ears as well but this one seems to be my “nails on the chalkboard” word.

That word is definitely cringe-worthy, Susan. One that bothers me is when ‘asked’ is pronounce like ‘axed.’

Irregardless bothers me. And it’s more accepted now, so much so that it’s not even being caught by spellcheck anymore. Sigh.
Ooh – that’s a good one. It ranks up there with ‘unthaw’.

That’s funny. This is petty, but my soon-to-be ex would always say “stint” instead of “stench”. Didn’t matter how many times I explained it. I’m sure there are others but this is all my tired brain is giving me tonight 🙂
